Living with an American Family

Living with an American family has three advantages for foreign students. We can learn American culture with that family automatically when we in one house. Like the American fashion style. We also can learn American style in daily activity. We will have an experience to become an American. Beside that we can improve our language skills because every day we will speak English. For the example we will train our speaking with them. Learn new vocabulary bit by bit when we speak with that family. We know the correct grammar from them. We can listen clearly when we speak them. After that we will not feel lonely like stay in boarding house. We have friends to speak with. When have a problem we can share our problems that we got every day. To vanish our homesick because we have a chitchat friend. To cure our miss with our parents maybe we can hang out together with them. In short, with living with American family for foreign students, the advantages are we can improve our language skills, learn cultures, and also we are not fell lonely.

EED 8th Classroom

EED (English Education Department) 8th Classroom is a very uncomfortable place for study. Because of many facilities in the classroom are broken or not working well. So some facilities that supposed to support the learning process not working like some of broken chairs pilled in the back of the class and it makes the class looks messy and some of the chair are broken. There is many windows are broken, some we can’t open and some others can’t close because of the window never get repair. The curtains are dirty and out of order like. Besides that walls are dirty with meaningless drawing, writing and stains. Even there plugs on the floor are not working, so we can’t use it like how it supposed to, such as for charging our laptop or some other things that need plugs. Besides those problem, ACs on the class are not working, one of them even become a place for bird to make nest. Beside those condition of broken facilities, outside the class also can be so noisy. First, on the other side of the building where the class is located there is a busy road, so we could hear the sound of vehicles moving very clearly and it disturb our study especially when we need to listen to an important lecture. Second, there are many benches outside the 8th class where some students usually wait for their classes and the sound of their chatting sometimes are very loud. Outside of the class are very crowded and it also disturb our focus when studying. The reason why it is very crowded no other because the 8th class is near a space, a place where students usually wait for their classes, so many students usually flock around there. Besides, it is also near the toilets and HMJ room. In the end, broken facilities, noises around the class and the crowded outside the class are the causes that make us feel very disturbed during our lessons. If there is no action to improve the class condition we afraid it will affects our study performance.

A Little Thing Called Hug

The Free Hugs Campaign is a social movement involving individuals who offer hugs in public places. There is Juan Mann walking through to the crowed and make hugs to everyone. Starting from all the people who ignore and nobody care about him. Until he met an old woman and gave her the first hug. And then, he got great sympathy feedback which all who see it began to take notice and embrace the man and even more people were willing to follow him to conduct this campaign. It was a very ironic moment when all people in the crowd didn't pay attention to the man. I began to think how important a hug and the sense of it. Togetherness is wonderful, we share, and we care about each other and remember that we live in this world together. We're made ​​for helping each other, not only self-serving. Up to the scene where police banned the campaign and Juan Mann explained the purpose of the activity. He started again to do it, but then he's trying to ask all of the people who are willing to share hugs and provide signatures. He reached the target! He got 10.000 signatures. And then, free hugs allowed again by the police and they invited everyone who wanted to get free hugs, including the police. This is the awesome part when Juan Mann got 10.000 signature and the police accept the Hugs Campaign . 

Finally, this campaign is so great and it was so sweet when all people care to each other. I think, the point of this campaign is how we respect each other. It looks very simple, actually hugs have great meaning, both for relationship between human beings. Just because a hug, people became more respect to each other, creating peace and happiness. So I can see that how to share happiness with others was very enjoyable. Leave the competition to share laughter and respect each other.

-          In this video there are a man who hold sign “free hugs” and walk away in the downtown, at first the people do not care and are not enthusiastic about the man, the people let him walk away and did not care even though he hold sign “free hugs”.

-          During the man walked, some people just watched him, took his picture and passed him.

-          People didn’t give their respond to him.

-          At the first, what he brings doesn’t make sense for the people.

-          The event begin when a grandmother who initially spoke with him and eventually grandmother was interested of the event and hugging him.

My Bedroom with All That I Want

Everyone has their own special place where we feel so much comfortable to stay there. One of my favorite place is my bedroom. And I really want to have a cozy bedroom even though it’s not really big. And I can be happy when I spend all my time in my small yet cozy room with my guitar and all of favorite items. Now I would like to describe how how I am going to design my bedroom.

First I will make my bedroom comfortable enough for me. The wall’s color of my bedroom is white because white will make we comport and relax when we work or study there. I will add some of poster and photos from my favorite band on the wall. When you enter the room, you will see all of the decoration of my room. At the opposite of the door, there is a cupboard that I use to keep my clothes. On top also there are some of my CD collections that I have. On the right side of my bedroom, there is a big bed. There are also pillows on it. In the right of the door, there is a desk for studying. Beside the desk, there is my guitar and all of musical instrument that I have. Then I will add a carpet on the center of my room to make me comport when I playing my musical instruments. The situation around my room is so quiet and peaceful. The last, I hope I will feel comfortable in my bedroom, that why I really want my bedroom can be like that.

The first time I watched this video I was very touched by what is done by the men. How to clean up your messy room after a party

Do you want to throw a party?  Of course you will have your room become messy. Especially if you are a man, most men are very lazy to tidy his room. But don’t worry, I'll give you some tips to tidy up a messy room after a party.

Here the steps:

First,Collect the big rubbish like plastic, paper, and food wrapper to trash can. 

Second, Hide objects strewn in one room.

Third, Sweep the floor to the bottom of your bed.

And the last, after that mop the floor to make sure that already clears.

 Finally your messy room is clean, you can use air fresher to make your room become fresh.
